DATA
Data: facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis.
Being a Data-Driven practice means that every visit we are collecting data about our patients.
No it’s not the creepy data that Google and Facebook are collecting to sell to other companies and advertisers rather its data about your structure, your function and their relationship with each other. This way care is specific to you.
The data we collect with our multi-axial digital analysis system when it comes to structure is…
Head Tilt
Shoulder Tilt
Spinal Tilt
Hip Tilt
& rotation of the shoulders in relation to the rotation of the hips.
The structural data that we collect before and after every visit gives us insight on how to approach each adjustment and work with the patient to improve their alignment, function and decrease their pain .
Someone with left hip tilt, right spinal tilt, right shoulder tilt and left head tilt is going to be adjusted completely different than someone who is shifted all to the left or the right.
We also collect range of motion, balance and a myriad of other data points. These other variables allow us to see how alignment is affecting function.
How we adjust is based on your alignment from the data we collect. Over the past 3 years we’ve been really happy with the data we collect and the specificity of the data we collect. However, in the tech world a lot changes in three years.
Due to the advancement in technology over the past 3 years we are upgrading our main camera that we use with our multi-axial digital analysis system.
This means more accuracy for our collection of data, more specificity for our adjustments and better results for our patients.
