In the United States 39 million women, men and children suffer from migraines. In fact nearly 1 in 4 US households include someone who suffers with a migraine or severe headache. (Migraine Research Foundation) That means in Columbus there are over 70,000 households where someone suffers from a migraine. If you’re one of those individuals then you know how debilitating a migraine can be. For some individuals that suffer from migraines, traditional medical care is able to help. Relief from migraines can sometimes be achieved through prescription medicine, nerve stimulation, botulinum injections, and even nerve ablation. For many individuals relief from migraines is still not found when going through the traditional medical system. This is due to the fact that many things still aren’t known about migraines.
