Limits of Stability

Limits of Stability.

As a Data-Driven Chiropractic office we measure a lot.

We measure a lot because it helps guide our care and allows us to give care that is based on the individual, their needs, and their symptoms as opposed to basing it on just one of those.

Adding objective data to our analysis gives us pieces of the puzzle that allows us to track and make sure we are getting the objective results as well as the subjective results.

One of the pieces of the puzzle is Limits of Stability.

Limits of Stability looks at how far we can move forward and to the side without moving our feet (our base).

Why does this matter?

Limits of Stability essentially measures one aspect of postural control. Postural Control is how well we are able to move and control our body.

Individuals who suffer with;

  • Low back pain

  • Chronic Pain

  • Neck Pain

  • Balance Disorders

Will often times have aspects of their postural control system that is negatively affected and this decreases their ability to move and balance making daily activities and life overall harder.

Measuring Limits or Stability provides us insight into how the body is functioning adding one more piece of the puzzle so that we’re able to provide the highest level of care.

We measure a lot.

You get the care you deserve.

You get back to living the life you deserve.

That’s Data-Driven Chiropractic.
