Sitting Up For Success

Currently over 1/4 of the United States is still working at home with another 1/4 splitting their time between working remotely and going into the office.

Due to this change in our working situation many of us have either had an increase in neck pain, headaches, wrist pain, upper back pain, and lower back pain or we’ve started feeling pains where we hadn’t before.

For instance in one recent study looking at individuals working from home they found that…

  • 40% noticed stronger low back pain after working from home.

  • 45% noticed an increase in pain of the upper back and neck.

  • 27% noticed pain in the hands and wrist. 1

That’s a lot of pain for a lot of people.

Luckily for us though there are ways that we can set up our workspace and set up our day to help decrease the chance of developing pain. If you’re one of the individuals that is already experiencing pain improving your workspace still has the chance to improve your pain. However, if you’re looking for a more personalized solution click here.

Overall, we are in more pain now then we were at the start of the pandemic and with some small adjustments to your workspace we can set ourselves up to decrease our pain and decrease out chance of developing pain.

That’s exactly what I am going to be covering next Monday night (January 24th) over Zoom and Instagram live at 6:15pm EST. I’ll add the links here this coming Sunday.
